Easter in France enjoying the sunshine: Part two

Welcome to part two of my French holiday and pics from a brilliant walk my mum and I went on. Now the thing about the Lot Valley is that it can be really sunny first thing in  the morning but it can be incredibly cold - it doesn't warm up until at least 10.30am.
Here is the view opposite mum and dad's - can you see the frost? And yes the rural scene...
 Here is a close up
The sun soon came out in earnest and it warmed up
The region of Quercy, which is were the Lot Valley is, is covered in oak trees. Mum and I went for a walk through the surrounding countryside which went down through a forest with a winding lane.

The gardens were coming out in full - loved the light coming through  these leaves.
Mum and I were delighted to spot 'les moutons' aka sheep which are becoming a rare sight in the area. And to make it even more magical we heard them first rather than saw them. Yes they were all wearing bells - think Heidi and her goat herd (if you are, like me, a child of the 80s). Magic.
Towards the end of the walk were came across a flooded areas which gave up magical reflections.
So that's it, end of part two! Right final installment soon
